NJALL
2015 Adult Learner Writing Contest

Deadline Extended to February 20th

Call for Submissions

We understand that programs, classes, and tutoring have been disrupted in the last few weeks because of the difficult weather we have been experiencing, so we have decided to extend the deadline for the Learner Writing Contest to February 20th.

We hope that this allows more students to participate and we look forward to reading their work.

NJALL would like to recognize the writing skills of adult learners across the state and encourage all learners to think about sharing their work. This spring we will publish a magazine featuring writing by adult learners and we will also choose selected pieces to receive certificates and cash prizes. Winners will be invited to read their work and receive their awards at the annual NJALL conference on April 24th.

Categories:    Fiction    Non-fiction    Memoire    Poetry

Prizes: 1st Place - $100      2nd Place - $50      3rd Place $25

Guidlines can be downloaded for sharing here.
