This is an excellent source of information about what is new in staff development, technology and many other topics. Includes links to web sites of programs and organizations that are doing new and interesting things.

An excellent source of information on adult literacy with resources that will be of information to teachers, administrators and policy makers. OTAN is part of the California staff development system. Although you have to subscribe, subscription is free.

This site has excellent links to other literacy sites, information on important events, and a wealth of other information.

The home page of the United States Department of Education office that administers the Federal Adult Literacy program. Here you will find useful statistical information and excellent links to other literacy resources.

The is the official web site for the American Council of Education's GED Testing Service. Includes up-to-date information on the GED test.

These people have abstracted a huge collection of print-based resources that range from research to teaching materials. Some things are available for download. Don't miss this one.

Has information on NCSALL's research programs. You can download many of the reports for free and you can get your downloaded copy of Focus on Basics, an excellent resource for adult literacy education practitioners in newsletter format.
